Hey Guys I have had RB 3 days now and I have already had my guitar go out on me. Now My Mic is making a static kinda sound whenever you sing into it and it makes the songs REALLY hard to pass becuase it reads that sound as well. Anyone have this problem or know a way to fix it? I do not have the Static Voice thing in the options menu on either I have never turned it on, but the Mic makes the sound everytime you sing into it not when you have no part to sing though.

I am really starting to feel cheated here. I spent all this money and all this bad stuff is happening SHESH!

No One else have this problem or know a way to fix this? Could it be becuase I had it plugged into the Hub should I just go staight through the 360 or would that even matter?

Edit: Do Admins not help people with problems here like they do on the GH website?

This happened to me. I just did the usual troubleshoot, unplugged all peripherals, unplugged the hub, restarted xbox and pugged everything back in, no static. Worked for me, give it a try. Hopefully it is not a recurring problem (more than occasional).

i had the exact same problem with kareoke revolution, its one of 2 things, a bad connection between the mic and system (try unplugging and replugging back in) or a short in the wiring connecting the wires, to the mic itself (this was my problem) if thats the case, you will need a replacement. Although the mic looks nicely encased and supported, this problem is usually caused by pressure pulling the wire away from the mic

I would also try lowering the mic sensitivity, as you may hear the mic clipping sound like crackling. Otherwise you will likely need to replace your mic.

that happened to me but it was because I had the mic plugged into the USB hub, and the power adapter wasn't completely plugged in.

This happened to me. When my little one was pounding with it. It seems that pounding any mic on your leg is a bad idea. you see the wires in there are so small and they tend to stretch and break easly. This is one thing I do not understand from EA. Why would you pound your mic?>? Never a good practice so why teach it. They do not have people slamming guitars around. And good a good real mic can cost you some bucks. So I cut the 2 wires and soldered a mic plug onto it and now I use my Sure mic. Note to self do NOT pound the hundred dollar mic. And as for my little one she gets to use the lesser expensive RS mic. Wiggle around and find the break. If you find it it will crack and go off and on.
