ps3 Rock band question

Is there any guitar we can use (besides the rock band one) for our ps3 version of rock band? I'm really desperate for a bass guitar.

What he said. GH 3 Les Paul, GH 1+2 guitars and Sixaxis controller are all incompatible.

Wasn't harmonix part of the Guitar Hero 1 and 2 team? Shouldn't the guitars from those games work with rock band? If they don't harmonix has no excuse for them not being compatible. They have that philosiphy or what ever and clearly it isn't true since the game isn't compatible with most guitars, even their own guitars.

You would think that but it isn't a PS3 thing because you can play GH1 with full functionality and GH2 and 80's where some functions are missing with a proper adapter. So it has to be on their end. But this is their first game on a PS3 so they overlooked a lot of things.
