View Full Version : My Rock Band Guitar Won't Work

My guitar for Rock Band won't work. The guitar like won't sync into my wii. I need help because every time my friends come over only the microphone and drums are available to use. What should I do to fix this problem?

Here's a fix. Get Guitar Hero and buy a real brand name like Activision. My Wii RB guitar just broke today too, so I feel your pain. No fix. I've tried everything. These things are pieces of crap, and probably cost less than $2 to make in China. Their pathetic 60 day warranty proves it. These guys are crooks and are pissing me off to no end.

bump for an answer to a frustrating problem... I just tried taking out the batteries & unplugging the dongle for 3 hours (let everything drain out and reset itself) and still no luck.

f.u. all bran guitar hero sucks. You have to return it, and you will get a new one.

OP, if you are still in the warranty period I'd suggest putting an RMA in with EA to get your guitar replaced. The instructions are in the manual or the pink piece of paper that came in the box.

I just bought Rock Band 2 yesterday,and i got the drums and microphone working the Guitar Turns on properly but i dont no where to go to use it for the game?

Not sure exactly what you mean Ashleiigh?

Which system are you using? Does the guitar not work at all? Can you navigate the menus with the strum bar and use the buttons to select a mode of play (quickplay our tour)?

Just for the record, if you have a question, it's best to post a new thread instead of bringing back old threads. Helps keep it fresh :)

If it's the wii version, it's probably something similar to this thread.

Same problem with my Guitar. Luckily the Guitar Hero guitar works. Still means I'm out of luck playing Rockband (original).
