Apparently sometime in the last week, three DLC items came out for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Two of them are character packs, but one is a Mission Pack. I'm downloading them now, but I was wondering what everyone else thought of them?
I'm also curious as to whether they're out on PS3.

Personal Recommendation: Skip the overpriced character packs unless you're a huge fan of the game, but the new Jedi Temple level is pretty good, especially if you like the story of the game. That, and you get to run around as Darth Maul for no extra charge.

Character Pack 01: 400 MSP ($5.00)
Characters
Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker
Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi
Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker
Imperial Commando
Darth Sion
Ki-Adi-Mundi
Kit Fisto
Apprentice Costumes
Hooded Combat Gear
General Starkiller
Sith Assassin

Character Pack 02: 400 MSP ($5.00)
Characters
Republic Trooper
Tatooine Luke
Ben Kenobi
Jedi Master Plo Koon
Count Dooku
Jango Fett
C-3P0
Apprentice Costumes
Utility Combat Suit
Animated-Style Apprentice
Spirit Apprentice

Jedi Temple Level Pack: 800 MSP ($10.00)
"In this mission, Darth Vader's Secret Apprentice turns to the Jedi Temple to learn more about his father, and while searching through the rubble of the destroyed building he must confront his own inner demons..."
(From the Xbox Live content descriptor)
Characters
Darth Maul
Mace Windu
Qui-Gon Jinn
Dark Stalker
Lightsaber Training Droid
Combat Training Droid
Apprentice Costumes
Temple Exploration Gear
Cybernetic Reconstruction
Sith Training Gear

A fun and challenging level, this will have you crawling through the ruined Jedi Temple, which is full of Imperial traps and old Jedi tech that is still running. Though the opening cutscene is remarkably poor in quality, the interior of the building (after the first somewhat bland room) is remarkably detailed and features very impressive lighting. If you like the game and want more, this is a good buy. Don't expect it to breathe new life into the game if it already got stale for you though.

How to Access In Game
Jedi Temple
If you purchase the new level, it does not appear in the "Mission Select" screen. This is because the game sees the new level as a whole new campaign, so you will have to start a new game and choose "Jedi Temple" from the Campaign Select menu.
New Characters & Costumes
Simply pause the game and hit the right bumper to bring up character options. Costumes will allow you to change the Apprentice's appearance, with DLC marked by a small arrow in the lower right corner.

I'll upload some YouTube Videos if anyone is interested.

Sounds good. I still need to rent/buy this game.

I downloaded the demo awhile ago and saw a friend play this for awhile. Maybe someone who owns the game/downloaded the DLC can clear this up. Do all of these extra characters replace the Apprentice for single-player (that's what I'm assuming)? I really hope they aren't just skins (see the new PoP for that botch job), I can only imagine Jango Fett running around with a lightsaber :(. Would be worth the money if each character had their own move set and appropriate weaponry.

Nope, just skins. I was fairly disappointed at first, but the comedic value of seeing C-3P0 kicking ass is almost worth it.

I'm just now playing this game, and it's OK. It's a lot of fun throwing stormtroopers at Wookiees, and the noises that the greedos make when you shock them is priceless. :)

That sucks, but I halfway expected that. I doubt many developers would spend that much time creating individual animations/models and not charge significantly more. The third pack seems the best for characters/extra mission, Jango Fett alone warrants purchasing the second pack. And to geek out for a second, they seriously put Jango Fett in instead of Boba Fett? Weak indeed.
