I got my bundle on launch and in under a week i started having double strum problems.
Granted i was angry, really angry but when i found out i could get a new guitar (and from what i've heard improved strumbar) i felt better. It might not be legal or right, but hey look at microsoft and the 360 almost what 2 years out? still dying strong, and what did they do? WARRANTY. This Is RB's first few weeks in retail existance give em a chance to right their wrongs, its not like they said screw it, your all SOL and we still have all your money (think openimg of aqua teen hungerforce movie hehe). If you send in your bunk guitar you will get a new one, you can even opt to have it sent express (like i did) and have a new guitar in a matter of days. so as my girlfriend tells me, breath just breath it will all be better in a few days.

My only problem with this is it isnt totally free like they would have you believe. If you read the last bit when you are doing your warranty ( like I had to as well ) it says there WILL be a shipping fee. 15.00 for people with Express ( 2 day ) and 8.00 for the others. Just a Way to make more money? I dont know but I am not happy.

I don't see where that is. I read this:
"Express Replacement

We can send you replacement equipment immediately via 2-Day Air Delivery, free of charge. The box will include a prepaid shipping label so you can return the original equipment in the same box.

To guarantee that the original equipment is returned, we will need to take your credit card number. YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL NOT BE CHARGED provided you return the original equipment within 28 days. If we do not receive the original equipment back from you within 28 days, your card will be charged a replacement and handling fee of $125.00.

IMPORTANT! A pre-authorization of $100.00 will appear on your card from Electronic Arts, verifying that funds are available by placing a "hold" on those funds for up to 30 days. If you use a credit card, this hold will affect your available credit. However, a pre-authorization to a debit card will hold ACTUAL FUNDS. If sufficient funds are not available on your debit card, this hold may result in overdraft fees.

Most of our requests are processed within 1-2 business days. All shipments are 2-day Air Delivery.

Normal Replacement

If you prefer not to provide a credit card, we will send you an empty box with a prepaid shipping label to return the original equipment. Once we receive the original equipment back from you, we will send your new equipment free of charge."

Where does it say the $15 charge?

Same here. I would check but I dont want to mess my stuff up. I am not blind though it was after the 120.00 page on the last page of the warranty I am not just pulling numbers out of my ass. I am sure it said 8.00 for the non express and 15.00 for 2 day.

It sure seems like it. Every source anyone, including me, has pulled up has said that the whole process is free of charge unless the original peripheral isn't returned.

No you don't you put it in the box the replacement came in and you take it to the post office and they ship it.

It's just like phones and xbox 360s. My brother-in-law got a free phone from sprint to rpelace his old phone. He took the new phone out of the shipping box, put the old phone into the shipping box, and give it to the post office.
