The Countdown to Guitar Hero Completion thread.

Since everyone was whining like little girls about the title of my last thread, here. I changed the god damn title name. Happy now? And for those who still want to complain, here we go right off the damn bat.

GH1, 2 and RTE are on because they're old Harmonix games.

GH3 and GHWT are on because they're direct competition to RB and RB2.

GH:Aerosmith is not on because with Aerosmith being "exclusive" for now, it makes no sense to add a game that is 80% not going to happen.

The handheld games are not on because half of the setlists on them are already on other Guitar Hero formats, so having them would just be redundant.

These are my explanations. Don't like it, tough t*tties.

Im game for a handful of them especially those that were not originally masters themselves on there respective games but there was an awful lot of crap songs amongst the great ones ommited so far on the Rock Band platform

I thought about doing that before, but I think it'd be nicer if the thread eventually dwindled down to nothingness as opposed to always being the same. In other words, progress could be viewed not only by the "x songs in Rock Band" updater, but also by just looking at how short the thread is.

Personally, I like the idea of having all 5 games in one place. Especially with RB2's "Make a Setlist" feature, that way I could make a setlist containing Ziggy Stardust, Free Bird, Holy Diver, Welcome To The Jungle, and Hotel California. But like all the other DLC, no one would be forcing you to buy them. That would be the beauty of it. You'd be able to pick and choose all the songs that you want from the previous games.

With the announcement of Pearl Jam's "Ten" being released in March, "Even Flow" has fallen from the Guitar Hero 3 Set List.

1) A great many of those tracks (practically all of GH1 & 2) were not masters, so yeah, we'd like to get the originals; and

2) Everything except the GHWT tracks covers *only* Guitar and Bass charts. So none of those have ever appeared in a rhythm game for Drum and Vox charting...

...so they still need to be "updated" to RB2. :)

Only doing disc songs for now. Once this thread is done, or at least 50-60% done, I'll probably compile a GHWT DLC list.
