starting a world tour band online?

is it even possible to start a band on world tour. because from my experiences all i know is that its a quickplay, because everyone starting a band with a band name online doesnt make sense to me because i thought you have to be on the same xbox to start a world tour band. please reply

No they aren't. The latest interview stated that while it is a good idea it won't be seen until a future iteration of the game.

I was very disappointed when I tried to set up a world tour online and couldn't. The only thing that would be worse is if they actually delayed the game. :P AKA look at the bright side.

What About Welcome To The Jugle?Don't taunt me...I'm kinda disappointed that there isn't any online band world tour...It would be nice to form an actual band with people over XBL...not just play music together with them for a few songs, but actually have a logo and a purpose and such...It's a lot easier for me than finding actual friends and getting them all involved locally...I wish I was that social, but I'm not. All my friends are dispersed around the midwest do to this being our first year of college. ...and when I say 'all my friends' I mean ALL OF MY FRIENDS...I'm very picky about who I become friends with and it took me a while to find an established nerdy gamer clique to fall into...now it'd be really nice to be able to band-up over long distance communication protocols, rather than having everybody drive to one place everytime we wanted to play.
