That was a bad game for Mizzou...after that we haven't played that good. OSU beat us and then we barely got by Baylor and then the loss to 6-6 Kansas killed us.

Eh you could say that about the majority of the Big 12. But UT has been very strong in defense. The thing is racking up a lot of points gets more notice and praise than defense in the polls. And thus we have the disappointing situation of the "Beat by Texas Bowl"

I agree that UT has a good defense; I think they're the best team in the Big 12. Unfortunately for them, their defense cost them the TT game (I think a freshman safety dropped a sure INT on that last drive).

I still think Texas should be playing UF for the Championship (I go to UT). I still think the OU ranking is silly.

Okay, here's one of the reason I'm proud to be a UT fan:
When you're up by 30 points in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter, you shouldn't EVER pass the football. That's called running up the score. I don't care at all what record you're trying to break.
Mack Brown actually has class. We would have put our backup guys in by the start of the fourth, if not earlier.
