in the hopes that these requests could possibly be considered.
Some of these have been mentioned, but...
First off Minutemen- Double Nickels on the Dime...maybe take out a few of the songs where they're just messing around...but the whole thing pretty much.
Ted Leo would be amazing...anything from Hearts of Oak. "Where have all the rude boys Gone" "The High Party"..Other than its lack of guitar Ballad of Sin Eater would be great on vox, drum and bass.
Fiery Furnaces have some great songs.."Blueberry Boat" "Chris Michaels" "South is only a home"
Built to Spill- anything really, but "Going Against Your mind" in particular.
"Silvery Light of a Dream" by Apples in Stereo would be insane with four people.
Be Your Own Pet...anything really.
Some early Dylan maybe..Maggies Farm, or Outlaw Blues
Lucifers Memory by Comets on Fire, or anything of Avatar
Joy Division- Digital
Olivia Tremor Control- Holiday Surprise 1,2,3.
Falling and Laughing by Orange Juice would be great.
It's super lo fi but "Are the pizazz asleep?" by the pizazz would kick ass.
It's not very accessible but Spiderland by Slint would make a lot of people happy. But that would probably never happen.
To wrap it up anything by Sunset Rubdown, Walkmen(drums would be great), Wolf Parade, some Dio era Sabbath(Neon Knights), and finally where the hell is the Styx?
They put New Pornographers, so I'm hoping they'll do some more with bands that are lesser known. I figure most of these will never be considered, but I had to try.
