My parents were at Best Buy yesterday and they said that to get the Dark Knight(DVD or Bluray), you have to preorder it and they weren't taking anymore preorders. I personally don't believe it. A couple things come to mind. First of all, how many people actually preorder movies? And if it were true, wouldn't they have some sort of advertising for it? I doubt anybody would know about this if it were true. And why would they not take any preorders? It doesn't make sense. It's still a few days until its release and you can't preorder it? For games, I know places like Gamestop that you can preorder it the day before it comes out. Is there something I don't know about?

My local Best Buy is doing a midnight release for "The Dark Knight" (yes, a movie). I haven't heard them mention one thing about pre-ordering it and I'm pretty good friends with one of the guys that works in the media department.

pre ordering is a joke, just go to another store. you know for a movie this huge every store is going to get a jillion copies.

It's a movie that you've already seen and won't be getting until Christmas. WTF does it matter?

They only have so many pre-orders, then they put a lot out on the floor, its just a way to make sure you get it, no one will be sold out.

I was gonna pre-order it but it looks like i'll just go grab a copy whenever im at the mall next.
The questions is, do I wanna get the dark knight blu ray for $40 or the dark knight/begins blu ray pack for $65?
(australian prices)

Bat-Pod??
Just remembered I gotta pay a friend back $50 so it looks like I wont be getting it for a few weeks after all. Might just wait til its on sale or import from the US in a few months is the exchange rates better and it's not region locked.
