And you thought Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction was bad...
DETROIT — A Fox spokesman apologized for an on-air mistake after the Vikings 20-16 victory over the Detroit Lions.
While a Fox camera crew taped owner Zygi Wilf presenting the game ball to coach Brad Childress, Vikings tight end Visanthe Shiancoe was to the left side of the shot with a towel only partially covering him, exposing his private region.
"It was an obvious oversight on our part, and we apologize," said Dan Bell, the vice president of communications for Fox.
It is unclear how many people picked up on the shot. But the Web site Deadspin posted pictures, which confirm what took place.
Fox regularly goes to the locker room of victorious teams to capture the excitement and then quickly edits and posts the footage as part of their postgame coverage.
A Vikings spokesman declined to comment.

I can't think of many things that I would want to see less than a past-her-prime Janet Jackson's boob, but Visanthe Shiancoe's "private region" is pretty high up on that list. So I am thankful that, while I saw the clip they mentioned, I didn't see what should have been edited out, but wasn't.

Glad I wasn't watching the post-game... (although was watching the game; the Lions are my share of amusement for the week, not to mention my way of figuring out how to torture my friends who are Lions fans...)

What is the rule here? If the FCC gets 12 complaints, that equals 12 billion angry viewers? I better send in my billion :D

Yeah... sad, but true. Lots of them around these parts (although some of the more fair-weather fans in this part of the state have been Bears fans for years now).
Of course, it was Packer territory where I grew up, so, in recent years, it's always been a bit of schadenfreude to watch the Motor City Kitties play :)
