Difficulty

I'm not a great player. I just picked this up because I have the Guitar Hero trillogy. However, I was wondering why Harmonix felt the need to put all 5 symbols into the "easy" portion of the drums? I've never touched a set of drums in my life. I've done good so far (85% or more), but dang. I was actually hoping for just the 4 pads on easy. Also I can play the guitar up to Medium and score 4 to 5 stars on almost all songs, but I fail playing hard. Am I missing something or is the Rock Band absolutely for the guitar only and not controller? My fingers don't want to co-operate on the guitar :mad:. Oh well, guess I need to practice more on the G'tar

I think the biggest single problem people are running into is the tight timing window. If you're used to GH3, you have to adjust a lot. Hit the note right on time, not early or late.

It won't hurt your skill, just a little different. I can use both now just fine.
