:(The songs been released lately are all pretty much old music. I'm not saying that stuff isn't good I'd just prefer something more modern. I'm talking about bands like Chiodos, Escape The Fate, Aiden, Silverstein, Circa Survive, Saosin, and Taking Back Sunday.
Ps.And by modern music I don't mean that Nickelodeon ****!(Miranda Cosgrove and Naked Brothers band)WTF was that?!

I wonder if getting the rights to newer songs is harder, or something.
((Oh, and Miranda Cosgrove and Naked Brothers was just their way of making money off of the younger audience.)

Yeah that's true. I wonder what they have to go through to get the rights of a song.
If they really wanted money I'm surprised they didn't put something like Hannah Montana or some other disney manurfactured band.

Most of the songs are pretty recent. I think we just need more DLC period. Some more DT, some Pink FLoyd, etc...

As the posters above me have already stated, we have a lot of modern music already.
I think the problem lies in the modern songs that are released being unpopular or just disliked.

Seriously?!?! The two categories with the most music is the 90's and the 2000's, not sure which has more. And in any case, 90's music is definitely not old, unless your like 10 or something. Are you 10? Dude the last 70's song was the beginning of october and it was 1 song! Before that one, it was The Who way back in July. If anything we need more old music. Don't even get me started on the 60's, they're waaaay underrepresented. They have a grand total of 5 songs. 2000's alone has at least 20 times that.

Dude. Please.
Just check your Challenges setlists.
"Infinite" 60s Setlist has *2* songs.
"Infinite" 70s has about 4.
The "00s" set? FIFTY-FRICKIN' EIGHT. And that's with only a *small* amount of DLC.
"Tempted" and the DK/MOB punk pack were the only pre-1990 releases we've had since before Halloween.
And other than a solitary "All Right Now" single back in early October, there have been NO pre-1980 releases since The Who album back in July.
There is plenty...PLENTY of DLC from this decade. We need a good run on the pre-1980 stuff for awhile.

There should be a lot of modern stuff, but it already is tilted towards current music, especially for dlc. We aren't going to run out of it anytime soon, labels sees big potential $$. I agree we need more 60s and 70s.

More classic stuff is needed.

I'd love to see more 60's music but it would be difficult to secure separated, master recordings for Rock Band.
