(system-ps2) will a guitar hero 2 controller work with rock band?

I have guitar hero 2 and getting guitar hero 3 and rock band all for ps2, i would like to know which controllers are compatible with which games.
I have one wireless gh2 controller, and getting a wireless gh3 controller, will these work with rockband?, and will the rockband controller work with guitar hero?

they most likely will work but i cant say for sure, the game is not out yet for ps2. It shoudl though because the guitar hero 1 and 2 controllers were set up using standard control schemes like the rockband one and the release by harmonix stated that if the third party controllers support standard controller set up, then it will work with rock band. Do the test, can you play guitar hero with a ps2 controller?
