Will UK RB1 Drums work with US RB2?

As there is no RB2 for ps3 in the UK yet i was trying to figure out a way around it. This question has probably been asked here a thousand times but i couldnt find anything with the search.

So if i buy a US version of RB2, and buy the RB1 drums from this country, and use my GH3 guitar; will everything work ok?

Yes however your DLC will be incompatiable. (DLC is region locked on the PS3)

Just the songs I know for sure. You'll need to confirm with an importer whether updates are still avaliable. I think they are but I do not own a PS3 to know that.
