We have all heard the major complaints such as no online world tour, but how about a list of simple fixes that Harmonix can work on for future patches?
1) A solo Bass campaign? Seems like a big oversight. I love playing the bass and getting my groove on. And many of these songs have great basslines. I think you would find more people interested in playing the bass if you gave them a campaign to play through. It would also be a great addition for younger or novice players. If anyone needs a bassist I'm down on the PS3 send a message to bigfish.
2) Ability to transfer savegames and/or characters to other consoles. Was taking my setup to a friends house and could not even transfer my savegame to a memory stick. For some reason that is not allowed. Had to recreate all new characters.
3) The option to play the drums without the kickpedal. Obviously this is going to be the first thing to break on it, and why be stuck without being able to play? And it is only a matter of time before my pitbull puppy gets his mouth on it. Also would allow younger players and drum novices(like my mom) to play along.
4) The abiility to link additional mics or even USB headsets to characters with instruments. Would love be able to play and sing backup vocals. Also the ability to allow USB headsets to register as a Rock Band Mic. Would make it easier to go on Band World Tour as a solo artist.
Those are just a few off the top of my head. Are you listening harmonix?
