100% a song?

Obtain a respected place on the leader boards?

Finally earned 1,000,000 fans in Band World Tour?

Completed a setlist that has been kicking your ass?

Post it here! I'd like to see how far people have progressed with this game and what their greatest accomplishment is.

Here's some of mine:

1) 3rd place on the leaderboards for Flirtin' With Disaster Guitar.
2) Beat Foreplay/Long Time and Tom Sawyer on Hard Drums
3) Completed the London setlist on BWT.

So, what's your accomplishments? :)

3)Beat Black Hole Sun on drums (Expert- 93%)

That is pretty much my only accomplishment. I am still doing almost all the other songs on hard/medium. But I guess I am pretty good at that one.

1) Having a fully functional guitar! lol :D

But seriously, I haven't looked at the leaderboards, and I'm just about to start drums on hard, so we'll see where I'm at in a few weeks.

I got

100% on Maps on hard on guitar
100% on Should I stay or should I go on hard on guitar
100% on Are you gonna be my girl? on hard on guitar

5 gold stars on In bloom on expert guitar
5 gold stars on Say it ain't so on expert guitar

Beat "I'm so sick" in 1 try on medium (Singing) , and I'm a guy

I can beat "And justice for all" on hard drums every time I try... and its ranked on the list as being way up there in difficulty... but mostly I can pretty much play all the songs on hard so w/e

Made an X rated tatoo on my characters chest , then erased it :D XD LOL

Beat "Little sister" and "Go with the flow" on hard in 1 try :D (Cause I can sing like that guy and I know all the words lol)

On drums, beat Expert (Don't Fear) the Reaper. Score wasn't the greatest, but I beat it.

I also think I'm one of the top drummers on PSN, but my console's been disconnected for a few days.

Beat drum career on hard. Can play most, so far, of the songs on expert. 5 stared every song on expert in the first two tiers (except creep) and a few bonus songs. Working my way through that career now.

Last I checked i was 67 on Green Grass and High Tides, but that was on hard, not expert.

Haven't started the vocals or guitar yet, but don't expect much hassle since I've finished all the prior GH series on expert.

More coming...

Ooh, I'm #1 on the leaderboards for "Here It Goes Again" and "Joker And the Thief" on Drums, and I did both of those on Expert.

Also, ROCKING "Foreplay/Long Time" on Expert. I'm gonna try and get 1st place on that as well.

* Beat Guitar and Vocals solo tours on Medium with no song less than 4 stars and most at 5. (I know it's zip compared to folks banging 'em out on Expert but for me, that's a hell of an accomplishment.)

* Kept several bands from failing out when playing online by conserving Overdrive as a vocalist and hitting it when I knew they were gonna likely croak out. :)

* Managed to put together a decent goth girl despite spending my cash on crappy clothes, changing my mind, spending on more crappy clothes, changing my mind again, and juuust squeaking it out in time to finish the Guitar Bonus Tour.

Beat expert guitar tour.
I have a decent ranking, but I want to go back through and play things now that im not sightreading. I also won like 7-8 matches ranked online today in a row, I finally lost when my upstairs neighbors starting banging on the floor(long story, read the I got evicted thread), so I had to stop playing and turn the tv all the way down, and the other guy got to far ahead to catch up before the song ended.

Picked up the mike for the first time tonight, decided I would start on Foreplay/Longtime on Expert. Yes, I'm a glutton for punsihment. Passed it (almost 4 stars), nearly blew it at the end where they make you sing what is essentially improv, ranked #74 on 360 leaderboards.

Played through the first four tiers on Hard, ranked #16 on Should I Stay or Should I Go.

Closed out the evening by going #17 on Tom Sawyer (Expert, 126k) and #4 on Fortunate Son (Hard). I've never been top 20 in anything in video games, so I'm pretty pumped to have put up 3 top 20's on my first run through on each song.

OK, enough bragging for one night by me. Where are the other singers?!?

My accomplishments are a bit more humble.. :p Only just finished Solo Tour on Medium with vocals, but I cracked a few good scores (PSN):

#11 for "Welcome Home" (100%, medium)
#1 for "3's and 7's" (100%, Hard)

Since Coheed and QotSA are a couple of my favorite bands, I'm content enough with that. ^^;

All solo achievements completed (including expert careers and flawless song on all instruments)

Completed Hall of Fame setlist on expert (with my brother) and am slowly working my way toward full completion of BWT... saving the endless setlist for last.

My greatest accomplishment so far is getting #13 on the leaderboards for In Bloom vocals (on Expert). I'm used to not even being in the top 1000 for anything, much less top 20. :p I was also #37 for Creep, which isn't as great but still pretty damn nice.

Ooh, fun! I've listed the songs I've gotten gold stars on in my sig, and my placement on the Leaderboard.

Aside from those, the other achievements for vocals are long behind me. Like finally beating Green Grass and High Tides, I Get By, and Foreplay/Longtime after listening to them repeatedly for 2 hours straight each.

I guess my next achievement, would be not screwing up at the end of Foreplay/Long Time every single time I play it... which means many more hours of listening to the song.

I was planning on posting an image of each city section in the setlist when all 5 songs have gotten gold starred. So far I'm 1 song off on the first two, I'll work on that ^_~

EDIT: Everyone else is doing it, so I'll post which songs I'm currently at #1 for:
Maps
Go With the Flow
29 Fingers
Vasoline
Brainpower
Enter Sandman
Are You Gonna Be My Girl
Flirtin' With Disaster
Highway Star

Huh, didn't realize it was so many...

And now that I think about it, my biggest achievement will be finally being able to put money on my PSN account and buy Joker & The Thief... and gold star it. It took me forever to realize I had created a sub account of my fiance's.

I just passed the Harmonix Marathon solo, doing guitar and vocals on hard/hard. While that might be impressive in itself, I'm so drunk right now I can barely stand up. I did fail Blood Doll twice--and it took me 4 times just to spell the name "Blood Doll" correctly.

(Oh, I've also finished Reykjavik's marathon solo on Expert/Expert while sober, but that was a lot easier.)

Almost completed Expert Vocals

Shaking windows in the Student Center using my voice and the very nice sound system they have set up down there during the end of "Run to the Hills". Lol, Bass singers for the win!!!! XD

Getting my Amtgard group to stick together and get comfortable singing in public using Rock Band

Starting Drury's first Gamer's Group around the Rock Band stuff.

Rocking "Welcome Home" and almost breaking 1,000,000 with a bunch of people playing for the first time.

I'm getting ready for the Endless Setlist also. No clue how I'm going to not die halfway through when "I'm So Sick" comes up. I've got the other songs nailed, just can't pull that one off without death being involved.

That's very impressive. I just beat it on expert for the first time (4 stars) and picked up the A-NI-MAL achievement. It was the last solo achievement I had left. :) I don't know about other songs, but per that "drumming = exercise" thread, repeated playings of Won't Get Fooled Again on Expert are definitely a workout.

Ugh - this thread is taunting me. I JUST 93%'d GG&HT on Expert. I hadnt been passed the 80%-ish mark that EVERYONE dies on, and I flew through it. The timing just clicked.

And honestly, for the first time in my LIFE playing ANY videogame EVER, I was so excited and shocked that I passed BOTH of those quick back and forth scaling note parts, that I TOTALLY froze up and couldn't hit a darn thing.

WORST PART? I hit my overdrive, AS I FAILED. YES - I HAD OVERDRIVE, AND HIT IT TOO LATE.

Heartbreaking.

Oh, you'll get it. It's those three note zig-zags that are the killer. When you start nailing those decently you'll be fine.

Haha thanks. I don't know how I do that song but I just do. I passed it on my first attempt, and have played it like 6 times total now (just tried it again). I must say it is BY FAR my favorite song to play. Whenever I play online with randoms I'm always yelling "WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN CMON CMON!!" but alas they go to Dani California, Welcome Home, and Foreplay/LongTime.

I really really wish I got a drum kit in which the online mic WORKED!!

*Crosses fingers for new kit coming in a week!

I have three songs that I need to get 5 stars on now. Run To The Hills, Dead On Arrival, and Timmayyyyyy

I wish online bands had tracking scores. :( Anyways, this was a band of near-random people. I'm the vocalist, and my friend (Who was in the same room) played lead guitar. We found the bassist and drummer pretty randomly and started jamming out together, and we got these scores our first time through the songs as we only played about 45 minutes total. Excuse the crappy quality as my friend took the pictures with his phone.

First band on the 360 (Not sure about PS3...can someone confirm?) that I know of to get 1 million points on Pleasure. (http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c320/Faldrok/1208070102.jpg)

Ditto for Dani California except with 2 million points. I also messed up the vocals as I usually get around 95-96% -- as I said, our first time through, and I was a bit off. :( (http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c320/Faldrok/1208070116.jpg)

#1 score on Cherub Rock (For 360 at least) but not by too much. Just including it because it's the last picture I have, and it's still an accomplishment. (http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c320/Faldrok/1208070124.jpg)

Yay for online bands!

Ouch. I've similar things happen to me quite a few times on Guitar Hero songs. Keep trying though man, if you got past the hard part once you can do it again. :)
