View Full Version : Suggestion: Remove songs from BWT

Band World Tour is AWESOME save for one game-killing design issue: I'm constantly playing songs I dislike.

There aren't very many mind you, just a few that I really, really dislike. When I see them popup in the random set lists, I suffer through them, so we've stopped playing BWT altogether. We just do Quick Play because otherwise it feels like work - having to play through crap you really don't enjoy. Sure when you're in a band you play the same stuff a lot but at least you (presumably) enjoy playing it :)

Suggestion: Provide the ability to remove songs from BWT mode.

Thoughts?

Rob

Yeah I think it would be a nice addition for a patch so that you can opt out of a few songs you dislike. I can't see Harmonix touching this right away but maybe early next year.

The only problem I have is the DL content being added to BWT. You know when i get blackened and fail in 2 seconds.

I assume that all songs you unlock get added to the pool for random set-lists, including bonus tracks?

We really do need an option to toggle songs off for this reason. Not so much for overly difficult songs coming up but for songs that you might not like from the original list. The main one for me is the song by "Timmy and the lords of the underworld", I have a feeling that I'm going to end up being my bands singer and as amusing as that song will be during quick play at the odd drunken party... I'm going to feel like a total imbecile trying to wail along to that every time it comes up during a "serious" session.

EDIT: and the less I have to listen to any song by the beastie boys, the better. :)

Yea as "funny at the time" it was for that song to be on the game now i honestly could go without playing it.

I would definitely like this option.

AFAIK, yes. Which is cool because I like all of them, save for Day Late, Dollar Short. But now it's in my setlists :(

I ended up not liking the Fortunate Son cover, but now it's forever in my random setlists  I suppose there might be a way to delete DLC? I dunno, haven't searched for it.

I'm pretty sure if you went into the save management from the 360 dashboard, all the packs/songs you've downloaded would be removeable (and you can always download them again for free if you change your mind).

I'd like to see this option too. I don't like playing most of the "Bonus" songs in BWT
