Accessing My Band/Achievements

My PS3 was stolen and when I replaced it, I was hoping that I could recoup my band, but it won't let me. I created my band with the same name, and it told me that it already existed, but i was unable to get it back. Is there any way to rejoin an existing band from a new system, or am I just screwed. Any help would be appreciated.

nope you cant use the same band name.
