How does money work solo and World Tour?

I noticed my Lear Guitarist is band leader and He had a diff amount avail in the rockstore then someone else in the same band, and I hadnt started solo career yet.
Then I gained money there and not sure whats happening.

From what I've experienced, if you use the same character in Solo/BWT, money carries over.

I'm the drummer for two BWT bands and I finished Drum career on Medium all with the same character, I've had at least $7,000 at a given time when each of the members of my bands only had around $1,000.

Characters earn money. If a character plays some Solo Tour, some BWT with Band A, some BWT with Band B than that character has the money earned from all of them. Any money earned by a character in any mode belongs to that character and can be spent in any mode.
