Drums make noisy sound just the blue and yellow

my sensors seem ok i checked and they seem functionable but for some reason its the pads that just suck they make a loud sound even with the offical rockband drum silence pads and they make my hits not go through anything to help it?

Pull the heads off and see if they are cracked...usually, the crappy sound comes from a crack in the plastic on thr back of the head..just remove them (the pads) carefully and take a look..if they are cracked, get some high grade opoxy plastic weld (found at your hardware store) and fix them with that...and it should fix the problem. I'll bet they are cracked (my yellow pad was cracked when I started to hear a weird noise coming from it after being hit)
