Rock band 1 to Rock band 2 export issues

Me and my associate tried exporting the rock band 1 songs to rock band 2. The process worked like a charm exept that we only got 55 songs out of 84. This was a great disappointment to us as many of the 39 songs that were missing were our favorites (ie. run to the hills). Why do we only get 55 songs? Is it a glitch? Will there be a patch in the future to get all of them? If not how can we? Any reply would be much appreciated! Thanks!

I don't know how you're counting the songs, but RB 1 had around 57 songs anyways. Three songs did not make the cut in regards to making the transfer. This was predominantly due to licensing issues:

Iron Maiden - "Run to the Hills" (cover)
Black Sabbath - "Paranoid" (cover)
Metallica - "Enter Sandman" (master)

So from RB 1, you should have been able to transfer about 54 songs if I am correct.

That is correct, RB1 only has 57 songs, those three didn't export because of licensing issues.

the 84 songs in RB2 need to be unlocked by playing tour mode

Yeah i counted 84 because i had my downloaded ones that already showed up in RB 2 ^_^ silly me :P.Thanks alot guys, I really wish those three songs would have made it into the transfer as all three are ironically my favorites in the game.
