DLC won't work with my new PS3 HDD

Hi guys! Hope you can help me out with this problem i have...

I recently purchased a new HDD for my ps3. I backed up all the files on my old HDD, and this included the game file of my rockband 1&2, which contains all the DLC i had downloaded.

However when i restored my files to the new hdd and tried to play with the DLC, it wouldn't work on either RB1 or 2. Just as the song was beginning to load, it would always revert back to the menu and say that it was unable to load the song.

Can anyone help me with this? is there something i need to download or load again? Please advise. Thanks! :D

Did you use the backup utility or just do a copy?

I upgraded mine and the backup utility worked perfectly... only other thing I can think of is that the PSN ID you're using isn't the same as the one you downloaded it with?

Other than that, you can try re-downloading the songs from the PSN... it's a pain I know but might be the only option if something went screwy in the backup.

You could possibly but the old HDD in a try the backup again... don't know if that'll work.
