So, I just moved my Xbox downstairs, because it's nearing Christmas, the time of year where we get drunk and act like idiots, and it's taken my parents a whole year to want to play Rock Band.
Anyway, the downstairs TV is a huge flatscreen and we have a surround sound system, which sounds freaking great on Rock Band. I finally got the calibration corrected and all that.
Everything seems to work fine except for the Microphone. The Microphone Volume is supposed to be turned all the way down, but I can still hear us singing through the speakers. It's kind of annoying because...well we suck at singing.

Dolby Digital is ON. Xbox360 is running through 5.1 Surround in the audio options. The microphone is way old and probably has a gallon of spit inside.
