Thanks for taking time to read my dilemma that I am currently having. As of last week, my RB 1 started throwing the dirty disk error right before the start screen everytime. THEN, I go buy the new RB 2, brand new disk and on my xbox it will throw the same dirty disk error everytime I reach the songs page.
I have been reading every thread on here for the last 2 hrs and have a combo of a few. My xbox is 2 months old and gets MINIMAL play at best. Took both RB games to a friends house and they played perfect! My xbox also plays every other game just fine, just the RB games throw the error. Lastly, my RB 2 got a ring scratch around the outer edge of the disc and says now that its a DVD and needs to be a 360 game, but it still played on my buddies xbox.
Any ideas would help please, i was cool back in the day but am out of the loop these days with these things, I think I might go rent RB and see if its the console for sure, ideas?
