yea, just picked up a basic throne tonight on sale for like under $20 cause I was playing in one of those gaming chairs/rockers, so needless to say my legs hated me after a few hrs of drumming. it should make my virtual drumming experience a bit less painless.
also got a cheap mic stand and new sticks while I was there, I'm sure they've sold ALOT of merch/or will because of this game. :D

I've got a TAMA HT25. It's a cheapy ($49.95 CAD) but it's solid. Manual adjustments though for height. Played about 6 hours on it the first night, it was great.

I have tried a kitchen stool, kitchen chair, office chair, and an exercise ball. Ended up buying one of these yesterday. Now my fat ass feels like it's sitting on a cloud... =)

It's pretty sweet for a standard drum throne. Goes high, is incredibly sturdy, and the pad is thick.

Only downside is it's pretty expensive. $71 at SteveWeiss.

My dad (yeah, that's right...my DAD) is in an actual rock band and the drummer always leave a lot of his stuff at our house (since it's where they usually practice) so I just stole his drum throne since it doesn't get used when he's not here!
