So I havn't seen a thread with all the reviews scores all summed up. Possible I've missed it since theres now a million people online posting random threads constantly but here's a bunch of scores i found. I looked around and couldn't find anything under 9/10.

Normally I would safely stamp this game with GOTY but there have been too many critically acclaimed games this year. It could be Halo 3, Metroid Prime 3, Super Mario Sunshine, Orange Box, Bioshock, Mass Effect and a few others. This year has probably been the best year in gaming in a LONG TIME.

It should get GotY, but the critics are biased against music games and towards shooters and RPGs. Music games are like animated movies or children's literature; shuffled off to their own categories by the medium's elitists :) Rock Band won't be getting GotY awards for the same reason Ratatouille won't get a Best Picture nomination and Harry Potter won't get a Pulitzer nomination, even if they should.

Well I can wait a while for RB 2 IF.......they keep the DLC up and they release a patch or "Bonus Pack" that allows the BWT online. I have a friend in Oklahoma and we really would love to be able to do the BWT online.

this should get game of the year, although the storytelling and gameplay of mass effect is incredible as well.

halo3 will only get it if it rides the hype wave in.

bioshock could also get it, it's in the running with mass effect. don't see the orange box doing it, but the value is great so you never know.
