I've got this song in mah head, and I can't seem to find it. I remember playing it in Madden. Either 05/06. Tried looking, but it takes forever. The bold part is the parts I can't remember.

Here is all I can remember "Doctor, layin around. du du du, swingin."

And

"Rootin for the wrong team, ohh.. Doctor! Layin around"

Any help would be much appreciated.

That is all.

I tried, but no luck.

If it helps, the singer is really fast. And a male.

EDIT: I really hope it's not. Looking it up now.

what type of song is it?(genre, no need to get specific, rock/rap is good enough)

Well,

It's the right song. Apparently, it was in some game that I liked. It's a good song, although I despise Fall out Boy. No clue how I got my original lyrics, but it's a match. Thanks!

Wow. They actually looked normal.

Definitely a good song. Pete looks like every Bassist should, attracting no attention, I kid, I kid.

I like the drum line

Alright, while we're on the topic of long lost songs, there's one from my childhood that most likely everyone but me knows. It may end up being some obnoxious tune from a contemptible one-hit wonder, but I can't end up much lower than Fallout Boy, can I?(I kid, I kid)

It's a 90's song, most likely pretty popular in its day, since I remember from my formative years (plus, I remember it having a 90's sound, so...yeah). The vocals are pretty fast, and there's a repeating guitar bit that reminds me big time of "Jack and Diane."

The part at 0:47. Not a whole lot to go on, I don't suppose, but the "Jack and Diane" part should help.

you are thinking of Tracy Chapman - "Fast Car"

does it sample "Jack and Diane"?, or just remind you of Jack and Diane?

I'm kind of confused.

Faustt got it. I seem to remember it sounding a bit different, but, looking at the Wikipedia page, a good number of covers exist. Pinpointing the exact one look like it will be quite the task, but that will be something I'll have to do on my own. Still, that's definitely the song, and many thanks for that.

Hey while we're playing the "what's the song" game, does anyone know what the song is that has the lyrics that go like "you just don't get it, keep it copacetic and you learn to accept it"? I hear this song all the friggin time on the radio but somehow I never catch the name of the song or the band.

I've never heard of it before, but the lyrics look like a match.

If we're on the subject of Madden songs, there used to be a point where you could tell me the name of a song and I could tell you which Madden year it was on. Not anymore though, sadly
