Would you rather pay 199.99 for your bundle to get a really nice looking USB hub?

Or pay 169.99 and get the ugly looking cheap hub?

what my point is though is that why couldnt they just put the nice hub in the box instead of a crap one? afterall we did pay 180 for their damn game ....

Well, they could have but that would have rose the price of the 360 bundle a certain dollar amount. I don't think they wanted to have a price discrepancy between the two versions.

Am I the only one who has problems with the bundled hub?

It does not register the instruments plugged into it unness you pull out the USB or power cable after I turn on my 360. Is there something I am doing wrong or is it just the way it is? I also cannot power on the Xbox remotely with any of the instruments for the above reasons.

I'd rather pay $199.99 for a nice looking (and functional) USB hub and reliable instruments.

After less then a week, I have a non functional USB hub and a Stratocaster with a broken downstrum.

Let's see what happens this week.

Then the game would COST MORE. Geez. You make it sound like HMX gave you carpet fuzz for your $170. The cost of the components dictates the street price. Why wouldn't they gold plate it while they were at it?

That being said I've had problems with the USB hub. I haven't done a lot of testing since I don't need it and my use of it was very fleeting. More testing required.
