Drums, man, for sure. Maybe one of the new guitars, depending on how cool they are. I think the mic would be the last instrument I would spend money on...however, this really depends on the songs. I'd be way pickier with the songs that I'd sing on than those I'd drum on, but if there are some really cool songs then it would be way fun to sing 'em.

Got kicked out of my house and now me and my girl are getting our own place so the purchasing of a PS3 and RB may be set back a tad.

(Just so you know, I personally think PS3 is doing ****ty right now but the anouncement on the freq boards saying harmonix's next game is a PS3 exclusive made me not care)

Yeah my parents were talking some dumbass **** like "You need to get a job" and "put that ****ing fake guitar down!" or some **** I dont know, I was too bust trying to get guitar solo b on jordan memorized.

But anyways, yeah I may have to hold out on Rock Band. :mad:

The length of the fret board on a Bass Guitar means that a bass has about the same amount of frets as a guitar.

Just because Bass has 4 strings dosen't mean there are only 4 chords/notes.

I can't remember whether or not the GH 360 guitars will work with RB or not. If they do I'll most likely pick up drums.. However, I would quite like that Fender as well..

If they're easily available seperate from the game (which may not be such an easy ask in NZ) It's possible I'd get one of each.

There was no announcemnent from us about anything like that on the Freq boards or anywhere else. Anything like that would be fan speculation, and not really valid. I mean, our game is Rock Band, and it is on 360 and PS3.

I'll start with drums as that is my dream instrument (assuming the controller is not completely lame). I have a PS2, so I doubt I will be able to use my guitars on Rock Band, so I would have to get one of those so my wife can rock with me. I suppose I really have to start with a new console, so the first thing I need is either a 360 or PS3. Any suggestions? Don't answer that...this is not the place for that discussion.
