Las Vegas will be experiencing probably the first snow day in its entire history tomorrow.

About 95% of schools (private and public) will be closed tomorrow in observance of the snow day.

I play 360. I wanted a PS3 at the start, but 5 of my friends got a 360, so I decided to get one instead of a PS3.

And instant, I'm kind of lucky, but I'll be missing about 5 tests I had scheduled for tomorrow and won't be able to take them for about 2 weeks because I'm going to Ohio on Friday until Tuesday(?) and then Winter Break.

It snowed on Monday as well.

Pulling up to Wendy's and ordering a Frosty while it was snowing and watching the people's reactions was probably one of the funniest things I've done so far this year.

Ah! The puns abound!

This has to be a new record or something two days of snowfall in a one week timeframe!

Wow! :D

Have we even had 2 days of snowfall in the city in a year before?

I remember 3 or so years ago it snowed in the morning and left about 2 inches of snow on the ground during winter break. I think I spent 4 hours making snowmen and throwing snowballs at the neighborhood kids that day.

I remember that as well....I regretted the fact I slept through it.

Now today I actually played around for a bit! Jeez was that snow cold, but it was cool! hahah :D

How much Snow? I guess that being in a warm desert you wouldn't have anything to deal with the snow so anything more than a light dusting would mess up the place.

My university canceled tests last Saturday because of a -40 windchill. Unfortunately mine were affected. I want my Chinook (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinook_wind) already!

How long do they expect it to last?

I work at a hardware store and with our varying climate people will buy a shovel, use it for 1 day, return it and repeat the cycle in 2 weeks. If Wally World has any I bet a ton of people will buy one and return it the next day.

The snow in my backyard is still about 2 inches thick, despite being rained on for 2 hours.

This is all of CCSD. The Clark "COUNTY" area. But, most of the population is in Vegas. Admittedly it would seem to me most of the people who actually live here live in "North Las Vegas" a technically seperate town that's not too far from the famous "Strip" of Las Vegas.

If we're in global warming, why the hell is it so cold everywhere?

I love the irony in it snowing in Vegas while I'm in PA for college. Snow was a big factor in coming out here.

The planet is very fickle. Warming in one place can create blizzards in another. Crazy stuff huh?

It snows all the time up here on the northern fringe of New England. It snowed about 5" yesterday and we're supposed to get a couple more storms tomorrow and Monday.

Looks like it's gonna be a white Christmas.

Where I live it never snows, but ironically you only have to drive like 25 minutes or more north where it snows like a muthasucka!!

Namely, Banning, Big Bear lake, there are some cool skiing resorts there.

We've already had like 4 feet where I live in NY. They rarely cancelled school here.
