Can anyone test out for me if you can turn on your 360 with the guitar or the drums that come with the rock band bundle?Cause if i connect my guitar straight to my 360 i can turn it on with the rock band guitar but if its on the hub i cant turn on my 360.Anyone know if this is normal?i mean not a big deal but still, just wondering.
Unable to turn on Xbox with Guitar or Drums when connected to the USB hub.

Same. Mild annoyance, having to walk that extra two feet to turn the 360 on, but yeah, I thought it was odd.

Easy fix...keep one of your instruments plugged in directly to the 360.
Next stop, rocket science. :)

the reason it works with the one plugged into the xbox is because it reads it as a controller, if you notice, there is no power on the usb hub though until after the console has started up, you need power for the hub to work dont ya?

My gutiar or drums doesn't even turn on if I leave it plugged into the hub when the system is off. Next time I turn the system on, neither of them turn on, unless I unplug them and reconnect...

I've experienced both problems with the USB hub. I can't turn on the system with an instrument plugged into the hub, and after I turn off the system, the instruments stay on. Overall everything about Rock Band says "cheap" to me. Bad guitar with faulty strum and buttons, bad mic with lag, bad drums with poor response and a breaking foot pedal, and a poor USB hub to cap it all off.

I agree with everything there except for

The system has worked perfectly and without incident since I received it on release day. I have not even had so much as a broken drumstick.:)
