It took me about an hour to get the game calibrated to the point where it "feels right" and I can finish a song. I ended up with the A/V sync at 55 ms and the Lag compensation at 43 ms. Did anyone else have to spend a lot of time calibrating? I have only played the drums with the game so far. It seems to be on beat throughout the songs, but when the free drum fill sections come up the sound of the drum hits are slightly behind the actual hits.....Is this normal? I have a Samsung HDTV by the way.
help please
thanks in advance
I've got a 46" Samsung LCD HDTV. On GH2 and GH3 I've got it lag calibrated at 51ms and it plays flawlessly. So I manually set the lag on Rock band to 50ms and all the instruments work perfect.
Hope this helps.

I have a 56'' samsung HDTV and I've been pulling my hair out trying to calibrate the thing. I'm going to try your numbers and see if those work. I've had to start a list of what I've tried and go that route, cause I just can't seem to find the right delay.

The problem you're having with the drum fill sections comes from the audio lag. Even though you've calibrated the game's video to sync up with the audio output, playing the drum fills is random and hence there's nothing an A/V calibration can do to fix that unless the game becomes psychic and sends your speakers a signal BEFORE you hit your drums. As it is, though, since there's a split second delay between your console and the audio system, there's nothing you can do. Although hooking up your console's audio cables to an analog audio system might help, but then you'd have to re-calibrate the A/V lag again.

I have a 52" Samsung HDTV that is plasma. I have no delay that I can tell and the people who have played here have not said anything. Are you on an LCD or Plasma?

I was sifting through the posts and i happend to stumble across this one. I am very interested in this b/c i too have a Samsung LCD HDTV. Anyways i was wondering for those of you who mentioned you have Samsung LCD HDTV's if you could post what model Samsungs you have. I wanted to know if maybe that is part of my lag problem, as so far i havnt really noticed much of a problem on drum's however i do have my LAG Calibration set at 10ms and the audio/video set at 0.

Hi everyon! I have a Samsung 46" DLP HDTV (HL-S4666W) connected through HDMI to my PS3, no digital signal out for sound, just plugged to my TV directly though the HDMI cable). Does anyone have this same model/configuration and was able to calibrate it accordingly? If so, what are the parameters?
Thanks a lot!
