I was just wondering, because I've never really paid attention before... I'm in the market for an Elite (as my 360 is slowly falling apart on me...) and possibly a PS3... but no matter where I look, I can't find a good deal anywhere! But it's before christmas.. is there a trend of these dropping after christmas?

I don't think the Elite will be seeing another price drop for a while (didn't it just have one a couple months back?).

If you are Canadian and insane, there's always Boxing Day sales :)

No, consoles don't follow any price-dropping pattern. Don't expect price drops on the 360 / Wii for a while. PS3 maybe, since it'll need to stay competitive.

Normally prices after the holidays on video game consoles do not drop. Games might. However, due to the economy, anything is possible.

Yeah, I say PS3 is the best bet for a price drop. It's been a while.

I'm sure some stores still have the old 40 gigs and are selling them cheap. (By cheap, I mean less than original price.)
