Ok, since Rock Band 2 has finally been released for the Wii, I have decided to make this thread. Post your Friend Codes here! If you aren't sure where or how to get it, all you have to do is to connect to the Internet for the first time in the game. You can then find your Friend Code under Manage Friends, in the Extras section, where you can also add people to your friend list.

I've gotten rid of the list because it was starting to get too big for me to keep track of. Instead, go to Exiva's friend code database (http://static.tmblr.us/rockband/) and add yourself there if you want (it has a ton of people on it), or you can just post here. If you add someone, please contact them so they can add you as well. Both of you need to add each other in order to appear on each others' friend lists as well as to play online.

For right now just use the email link at the bottom of the page, I'll have to contemplate a method to allow people to edit the information that's theirs and only theirs, just so not anyone can edit your data.

There's a problem with the adding system. Once I submit the registration, it goes to this website (http://static.tmblr.us/rockband/add_pw.php), which isn't found, and so I cannot register myself onto the site. You might also want to make it so that you have to enter the password BEFORE it goes to the settings, to make it harder to vandalize. :)

It won't allow you to save the settings to the database unless the password matches a hash and the hash isn't publicly viewable, and even if the hash was viewable it's still relatively hard to crack the hash.

I also fixed that bug so you can add yourself now. Whoops.

I use the wireless router at my mom's house, but the wireless router here is a Wireless-B, which doesn't have that great range, so I bought the Wi-Fi USB to solve the problem. I figured it out: it was my firewall. As long as it was running, it wouldn't let my USB connector work properly, so I had to shut down the program, and it works like a charm!

You go to your profile and click the "link to profile" button, then look up your webcode in the game. Once you know that, enter it as well as your Wii number into the boxes provided, with no spaces, and you should be all set!

I'm thinking about adding in a field for a skype username, since there's no in-game chat... this way you can voice chat through skype. I know it's something I've done in the past with friends for Super Smash Brothers and Mario Kart Wii that's worked well. There's also conference call support so upto 5 (I think it's 5 anyway) people can be in at once to talk. Thoughts??

Hmmm, not sure how I'd squeeze in all that data to display... I'll have to sleep on it and figure something out.

Also, now that I think about it, I'd probably stick to skype just because it's multi-platform (Win,Mac,Linux, Hell mobile phones have it too) and I know I wouldn't be able to voicechat on MSN since I use Mac (It's not yet supported.) and I don't think MSN supports conference calls where as Skype does.

I've added support for your skype username (There's an icon that displays your online/offline status (Make sure to enable Web Presence in Skype options, if you want to.) and clicking it will add the person to your skype list where you can send them a message and what not.) if you want to add your skype name, just click edit next to your name.
