woo. just made #1 on blackened on drums

i guess the leaderboards are seperate for the different consoles, but i just did blackened solo on drums and landed the #1 spot on ps3 with 184k :):):)

i use to slaughter the pre-chorus pretty bad (and i still miss one of the kick drum beats every rep. i dont think i'll ever get that one down) but i tweaked the calibration and its perfect now. but i still blow a lot of easy kick drum hits because this pedal just doesnt feel great.

oh and i do play some real drums, but not very often. i air drum a lot and have had most of blackened and justice memorized for literally like 10 years. i'm mainly a guitar player (13 years)

Nice job man! That's extremely awesome. I like that even though you are #1, that you're humble enough to admit that there are some missed notes. I'm using Rock Band strictly as an excuse to get off my butt and finally practice drums in some shape or form (I have my kit downstairs that I've only practiced twice in the last two months)

I'm on the PS3 too so I hope to see myself remotely close to your score someday.

Highest score on xbox is somewhere around 180 too i think, but it's not on expert; i've got the highest expert score on xbox.

Surely you're joking about programming the drums lol. I've seen them in concert a few times back in the 90s and trust me. He can play it. Hell, in real life, my friend can play it on the drums with me on guitar. But yes, he'd probably fail a few times on Rock Band lol.

thats crazy. i play it on hard and **** up more cause im trying to hit everything else haha

but its weird that you can score higher on hard since there are less notes. but either way looks like im #1 on both consoles so yay :)

i beat my own score. i learned how to use the star power. i think its 194k now

justice im #4. the top 3 have like 50k+ more than me. either 3 people are playing it flawlessly, or its in "hard" mode i guess

i hope they come out with some more metal DLC. i want megadeth and slayer so i can beat this drumset into the ground. i swear, i've probably spent 3 songs on guitar so far

i tried playing justice and blackened on expert drums without looking at tv. i passed but got much lower scores. 130k or so for blackened i think and about 180k maybe for justice. theres no point because i screwed up a lot of fills. id have to go out of my way to memorize them which just isnt necessary.

you should only be able to get the top scores on expert i think, like make the multiplier worth more or something, theres got to be something to make the expert stand out

Of course there's something that makes expert stand out..an orange colored check marK! Or what ever color it is. :p But congrats on getting #1 on blackened man! I suck at drums! :( Practice makes perfect though I suppose?
