Is there any way to make the drums not so loud?

Well it doesnt bother me at all to here the drums clanking every time i hit them but my family gets kinda mad when i play at 2 o clock in the morning because i love this game so much. So is there any way that you can make the drums less loud. I dont think there is anyway out there, but im just looking for any answers you got.

One thing we do at the office is put some felt over the drumsticks. We had an old curtain that we recycled for it, but you could go to any fabric store and get some felt. It'll make them a lot quieter and shouldn't impugn your ability to wail
