Game Suggestions

These threads are usually the exact same but I hope to make this one a bit different. A lot of reviews I've seen of games lately (by lately I mean the last year or so) criticize games for being short because they are only 8 hours long. The more I thought about this, the more I started to wonder; what modern games are they comparing that time to? I'm just curious, outside of RPGs, what games pull people and last a good bit longer than 8 hours. Anyone have any idea?

I think RE4 was supposed to last a while... Not sure, though. I don't have it.

RE4 was about 9 or 10 hours long. Plus, that was 4 years ago.

GTA IV definitely comes to mind. That has to be at the very least 30 hours long. Probably even more.

Nah if you're good and only do the bear minimum in the way of missions I've seen people burn through the story in 10 to 12, however if you're shooting for 100 percent it takes a lot more time.

burnout paradise can last a very long time
i played endwar and it only took 2h for each campaign for 6 hours

I'm not sure if Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is an RPG or not~ but that took me a good 70+ hours to beat (though I also found all the Golden Bugs). If you haven't played it already, you're definitely missing out

Yeah, Zelda would be considered an RPG. It just is in the Action/Adventure style. I was going to say Kingdom Hearts I & II, but those are kind of RPG's also.
