My Rock Band 2 drums (wireless) won't connect to my XBox 360. I've tried hitting the little buttons on the 360 and the drums that send out signals to find controllers and stuff but it didn't work...

I called Tech Support and they told me to try and replace the batteries because maybe the signal wasn't strong enough. I tried it and it still didn't work...

So now what do I do?? I DON'T have a receipt for it so am I pretty much screwed with a bum set of drums here?

Any help will help, lol, thanks!

Alright, so I got them to work but I had to sync them without the bass pedal plugged in... Now the base pedal won't work in game and I keep getting major points taken because I'm "missing notes"....

Any way to take that off? Like disable the pedal in the game so I can avoid these deductions and get that circle with a foot on it trying to hit a bass drum off my screen while I'm trying to play??

No, you can't disable the bass drum. Open up the drums (six screws on the bottom), and see if any connections between the bass drum jack (orange) are loose. Also, see if you can borrow a friend's bass pedal to test if the pedal itself is defective.

Could I disconnect one of the other jacks in the back and replace the drum pedal jack with it? If I do that it just won't allow me to use the cymbals on the one I took off right? Or is it harder then it sounds? lol.

Switching the jacks between connectors is not a good idea. Going to Radio Shack and buying a new mono jack is a better idea. Just checking for loose connections is the wisest idea at this point.

Also, try just buying a mono extension cable and see if relieving the stress on the jack helps.

Plug the Bass Pedal Into the Guitar, there is a little jack for it down by the D-PAD on the bottom of the guitar. Play a song on the guitar and build up overdrive, press on the bass pedal and if the pedal is working it will activate the overdrive. If it activates automatically or doesn't activate at all then there is something wrong with the pedal itself.
