I want to gripe about something. Every once in a while I decide to join someone’s band through xbox live. I like to play the drums. Sometimes I can play on expert. Usually I play on hard. It depends on what the song is. As most people know, metal songs are usually the most difficult to play so sometimes I even select medium.

So there I am, patiently waiting for the band leader to select the songs we’re going to play. Then, judging by how difficult the songs are going to be, I select a skill level I can cope with.

When they see I don’t pick Expert, I hear someone complain. Sometimes I get booted from the band entirely. Why should it matter what level I play on? If they want an expert then go find one of their friends list. Don’t go looking for random band members and then boot them because they are not up to your “I don’t have a life but everyone should be as good as me” skill level.

I’m trying to have a good time, I don’t want to feel intimidated by some 13 year old snot-nosed kid who probably can’t even play the drums anyway.

Some of you jackasses that do this also wind up wasting 15 minutes looking for someone who can play on expert. Just play the songs with the people you have. In the time it takes for you to find your expert, you can play a whole set list. Get over yourself.

dunno man... its probably those that are looking for super high scores.
Personally, i dont care what level the other person is playing on... im only in it to kick a** & sleep till noon... (bonus points if you figure out that movie quote).
i would say that yea... it sucks to have people gripe like that though
