RB2 for Wii backwards compatability & cymbals

Hello folks,

I recently purchased RB2 Special Edition for Wii (loving it!) and I had a few questions:

1) Is the RB2 guitar backwards compatible with Guitar Hero III and Aerosmith (for Wii)?

2) I heard that almost all the RB1 songs will be available as DLC for RB2. Is this going to be true for the additional packs (or even ACDC)?

3) I also bought the cymbals from madcatz. I was curious at to what was the most popular set up for them (yellow-green, yellow-blue, blue-green).

No. The RB2 guitar isn't backwards compatible with GHIII or Aerosmith. I've personally tried GHIII. Aerosmith uses the same tech. The problem is that these two games were only designed to work with the Wiimote. RB2 controllers operate via USB and are recognized as controllers only in the game. GHIII was not designed to enable use of such a controller so it isn't recognized as a guitar for the game.
