hi
not sure if this has been addressed before, but my green drum pad has always felt like it wasn't working so well since i got Rock Band 2 bundle about a month ago. and recently, it's been not working at all sometimes. like, it'll work for awhile but then it'll die and not work at all. it's weird
anyway, is there any easy fix for this, or should i get a new kit? is this covered on the warranty thing? like, could i send it in and get a new one for free?
thanks in advance :)
EDIT: I have the 360 version

There are fixes, but they are not easy unless you are very good with electronics. Grab your receipt, contact EA via the website on the pink sheet of paper included in your bundle, and request an RMA (unless you are outside of 60 days since purchase). After you get your new drums, USE SOME SORT OF SILENCERS TO PROTECT THE PADS.
My first set of RB1 drums died within a couple of weeks. After I got my second set via RMA, they lasted MUCH longer using the silencers. I personally use the official silencers that you can find in any electronics store, but I have also heard good things about the drumsoft silencers.

hm...thanks! :D
the thing is...the rb2 ones seem SO MUCH better...and i'm pretty sure they are. it's strange because im pretty sure you genenerally use the green pad the least, with the red and the yellow coming up much more often. yet the red yellow and blue pads are perfect. so i'm pretty sure it's not me hitting too much and am not positive the silencers would do much.

I'm not saying that your current problem is definitively the result of the wear and tear and that silencers would have prevented this. Rather, I'm saying that after you get the new drums, you should protect them with silencers to ensure longevity.
Additionally, even though the green pad is the least used, it can take some punishment as players swing quickly to hit crashes on the green pad.
