possible Microsoft Standards bug

i was re-downloading some Halo 3 map packs, and while waiting i decided to play some RB2 (good stuff btw). Anyway while playing the Heroic map pack finished downloading, after a few second of the message poping off the screen the game slowed to a fraction of the speed and the music was looping the corresponding 1 second piece of the track, happened again with cold storage and legendary map pack.
