bored and had one of these last night, so I thought I'd see if anyone else has them and what they are. When I was young I always used to dream about snakes in my food/beverages, but over the past few years I always have a dream about losing teeth, that one scares me alot, dunno why. There have been times I'd wake up and go to brush and see that they were all still intact, very relieving.

Falling out teeth = money worries.

Or something.

I keep dreaming about this girl I've been talking to a lot lately... and I am not complaining :D
Just wish the weather would clear up so I could go hang out with her :(

Dreams with teeth falling out are the weirdest; I've had those a few times.

It's funny to wake up afterwards, check my mouth and feel so damn relieved :D

i used to have lots of recurring dreams where i was another person, typically either your typical "creepy, but innocent little girl" or an older private detective, kinda like a more mundane dick tracy.

in the little girl dreams i either seem to be running from something, typically in a public setting where no one seems to notice... i always get away, and as soon as i'm safe i either wake up or the dream seems to end...
the detective dreams are always in black & white, and oftentimes watched from a 3rd person perspective... i'm usually informed that someone close to me has been killed and when i go to check out the crime scene i'm usually murdered as well...

i haven't had one of these dreams in about 10 years.

I had recurring dreams earlier in my life. Lots of falling down dreams (like jumping off the balcony of a tall building). I also have a lot of deja vu moments in dreams, but can never remember if I actually had the dreams before.

i had the loosing teeth dream for YEARS. i had a rotten wisdom tooth. once i got my wisdom teeth pulled, the dreams stopped. i litereally had the 'losing teeth' dream every 2 months, for years. sor ealistic i sometimes thought they were real.

ive been told that the losing teeth dream recurring dream means that you havea fear of losing something close and dear to you. but for me that wasnt the case. i jsut needed to get some teeth yanked.

I'll occasionally have dreams where I'm playing golf, and as I get ready to hit my shot, the surroundings start getting more and more crowded (trees, fences, all of sudden being inside...wtf) to the point where I'm unable to swing. I imagine it has something to do with me feeling cramped or pressured in some part of my life.

Another odd thing about my dreams is that, if they ever take place at my parents' house, it's always the house I grew up in, even though they've lived in their current house for over 15 years. Not that odd, I suppose, given that I have a greater connection to the first house, but you'd think I would have had at least one dream that took place in their current house.

ive also had a recurring dream where i am in nova scotia, and im driving, and i have to be back in ontario in so many hours, and i kow the timing is unrealistic, but i always think, no worries, i can make it back in such n such amount of time, and i even have time to visit my brother. even though i clearly dont have enough time to do it. but yeah i always have that dream, where im driving, and i have to be somewhere, but i dont have enough time to make it, but i know ill make it in time.

That reminds me of another recurring dream I have, where I'm back in college and it's about a week before the end of my last semester, and I realize that there was a class, or a semester long project for a class, that I either blew off or completely forgot about, and there's no way in hell I'll be able to either catch up in the class, or complete the project, before the end of the semester.

When started going to college and living by myself I always dreamed about being a serial killer. I would pick out a person and slice their neck open, spreading the skin apart, and then hanging them up on a telephone pole. Those dreams stopped after I graduated.

When I was around 7-8 I used to have a recurring dream of Me and my Family going on holiday and we'd always end up at Niagara Falls and they'd just jump of the waterfall leaving me stranded in the African bush, I also had a dream where I got eaten by a hyena in the African bush.

I've had some weird dreams, but none of them recur.

Edit: Actually, I can think of one recurring dream I've had. It's a bit too, uhh... graphic to explain here, though.

Dreams of loosing your teeth means that you feel like you no longer have control of your life...

so there are 4 different interpretations of the teeth falling out dream and most of them nail the stuff I'm goin through/gone through, I'd say a7x has the most reasonable one as of lately though. I kinda feel trapped in the relationship I'm in atm, my g/f is in jail and right after she went in I found out she had been stealing from me and lying to me about it, but at the same time I feel bad for her and don't wanna leave her alone while she's in there, but I don't think it will work b/c I don't think I can trust her. And at the same time I don't wanna wait till she gets out and be like, it's over. So I really don't feel like I have control over the situation.

topperharley is BANNED!

Was. Past tense. ;)

Speaking of dreams, who else has those dreams (maybe that's not the right word) where you're just about to fall asleep and then you have that leg spasm that jerks you wide awake and freaks you out? I hate those...

That happens to me a lot, but its not usually my leg. Its either as Im about to fall asleep, or Im sleeping and bam! Random Spasm and Im awake.

Anyways, when I was little, I used to have dreams about falling down stairs. Ive had a losing teeth dream maybe... once? It was last year.
