DLC for Wii comes up empty for me.

Any ideas why I can not view any DLC content when I go to the music store? I have my network connectivity setting on for my Wii, and I can see the battle of the bands standings (implying I am viewing online content in game), but I get a message when I enter the music store that there is no music store content.

I have no major port prevention on my home router. The ports recommended by the user manual to remain open are standard ports (most of them), and they are working fine. I am new to Rock Band in general. I have played at family and friends' homes, and never owned my own set, so I may be missing an obvious step... but I can't imagine what it is. Please help.

The game just came out, and no one has confirmed that the DLC is up and ready. Wait for an announcement or confirmation that anyone has been able to download songs.

That is true, and I have not yet seen anyone post about new content of the Wii, but I was just hoping I had something wrong, so I could fix it and get more music. I guess I should just be patient. Thanks Dovanon.

No problem. I can understand wanting more songs. I was almost as crazy as everyone else when we were awaiting the 20 free DLC as I got my RB2 on 360 release day.

I have seen posts to the contrary that the online content is in fact NOT up yet. I am with you... just bought the game yesterday and am eagerly awaiting the online content. My guess is that theyre intent was to make sure the game was out so that it could be given as a gift for the holidays... and the online content will be available shortly.

No one in this thread ever said that the online content was up.

After reading more about the Dec 18th release of RB2 on Wii, it seems that the release was pushed forward for the holidays (as you implied) and there may be some systems not quite ready for this release such as the DLC.

Upon hearing that RB2-Wii was out, I went door to door to all of my local retailers. I was surprised to hear that most of the store sales staff at these locations had no idea it was out already. I was told it would not be out for a few more months. I just recently read that RB2 was pushed hard to get out by the holiday and they succeeded barely. As a result of the early delivery of the game, I now fully expect the DLC to be late. I am just impressed by the speed and quality of RB2 being released early. (I am a software developer and have been for about 7 years... early delivery usually means major bugs. And so far, the game is really reliable for me. ) So, I am happy with what I have seen so far.

But please, if anyone finding this post hears more about the Wii DLC status, please update us here :). Thanks.
