As you know, Harmonix/MTV/EA has signed with a bunch of record labels and publishers. Namely:EMI Music Publishing and Warner/Chappell
Music are the publishers letting them use their tracks. EMI Music, Hollywood
Records, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group's
Universal Music Enterprises and Rhino
Entertainment are the record labels kindly gracing them with their master tracks.
Some bands signed on to EMI:RHCP
Bob SegerIron MaidenThe Vines David BowieGorillazJane's AddictionQueenQueensryche (Now they're with Rhino, I think) I'd
say there's a good chance seeing most of those artists in the game.
Anyone else know of any artists signed on to any of those labels that
might fit in the overall motif of the game? Feel free to include artists from other record labels, as well, I just started this as there's a much higher chance of an artist that's attached to one of those labels having a song in the game.

Meh, my favorite parts of Harmonix games are the Harmonix bands, like Frequency, Acrobrats, DJ HMX and others. That's where the real treat lies in for me :D. Hopefully they get to throw some in this time, but it is EA so :/.

yeah I don't know, I really don't know any bands from any of those labels, so I really hope they won't be restricted to that..
You cant Have a Harmonix game without megadeth. Gorillaz would be cool, but only if it was faster like 'White Light'.
I think we'll still see a lot of Harmonix in house bands, we have in every other one of their games, haven't we?
Any of the stuff they've done in their last game has been good, regardless.
