Originally the drum pedal broke so I called EA Support. No one there spoke English very well, no one knew what they were doing, they put me on hold and transferred the call several times. This is a toll call for me since they don't have an 800-number. After the call, I chked my bank account (they should have held a $100 deposit til they receive broken pedal) and they are holding 2 $100 deposits. Then I called them back to have one removed and again, ran into problems. The girl I spoke to had no idea what I was talking about, she hardly spoke English, and she said she couldn't locate my information. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said that none were available, but that one would call me or email me. That never happened. And on top of that, she placed another $100 hold on my account. I emailed EA directly regarding the holds on my bank account and never received a response.

yeah i called them this morning and i got the same type of thing no one spoke english and they placed a normal delivery for my kick pedal instead of an express so i called them back and told them to make it an express and the guy said that he would make another order for an express and that when the box comes for the normal delivery just send it back empty wtf

I also called up when I was doing the return policy & no-one could really tell me what was going on, and when anything was going to happen. They couldn't find me in the system, well they could find me, but didn't have any info. I mean, I got all the info from the return online & they can't find it in the computer. So, finally I got this guy & his name, that said it will be shipped out this week, and not to worry. I should be getting my tracking # soon. Still don't have the tracking #, so I will wait just a little longer.

milesodanglers, you said they told you send a box back empty. Be careful when you send it back empty they will proberbly bill you for not returning the pedal. even though you did in the express box.

Does anyone know another phone number for EA. I tired of calling this {650} #. I try calling to get the $300 hold straightned out but every time I call they ADD ANOTHER HOLD OF $100. THIS IS BULL.

when a merchant (EA) does a pre-authorize on a card, they can't remove it without completing the sale. The purpose of the pre-auth is to check to see if money can be held on your credit card. If you REALLY want to remove the pre-auth, call YOUR bank or entity who provides your credit card/bank card, and tell them the exact time and what it says on your statement. They can have it removed in roughly 3-5 days. If EA does NOT bill your card, it will stay on there up to 2 weeks, depending on which bank they go through to authorize credit cards.

These days can be slightly off, but I do work for a credit card processor, so I've got some experience with this.

man you guys must have gotten just some sucky ass CS reps mine was really good even took down my suggestion for fixing this problem for future pedals. well we'll see how it goes once they send me all the stuff.

Getting a techy on the phone that cannot speak English is fairly AGGRAVATING to say the least!!

Whats amazing is that they are allowing people like us to talk about our problems. I would've guessed they pulled the website forum by now to cover up tracks and keep on taking orders. Its amazing that they are allowing such an open forum.

She's obviously a rep from EA :D. And look people are paying to attention to people's gripes. Do you think this will stop the rampant complaining? Not very likely. lol.
