when you go to the extras menu then you go to Game Invites how do you invite a friend to play with you

the wii shop channel has updated right now, i just went there but there is no music store opening in rock band 2 and says No Rock Band Music Store data found.i think it opens tomorrow

Same here when i try to access the shop channel says problem 50 somthing so *** i cant access i thought it was me but when i play with friends in rockband 2 it works fine so i dont know if internet for me is working or not :|

You actually do that in the character selection screen if you're doing Band Quickplay or Tour mode by going to Multiplayer Options, then inviting whoever is online. You can also find random people to play with you.
