I'm not sure how many of the MTV unplugged were recorded in seperate tracks, I know they were recorded in high quality. I own many of these recordings. Nirvana, alice in chains, (even Jay-Z).

I realize that in order for rock band to work with recordings the music has to be recorded on seperate tracks. This would really be the coolest thing ever, honestly.

Nirvana and Alice in Chain's unplugged were probably two of the best and I know i'm not being a "rock purist here" but even the Jay-Z unplugged album was absolutely amazing when he is accompanied by The Roots band.

Anyway, it would be cool to have some live songs...

In the future, please don't use a thread title that sounds like it's some sort of announcement of something you've read/seen. :) Otherwise, it's a fine idea, although not without its quirks (RB already includes applause, a crowd to sing with you, etc.)

yes, even just getting some of the bands from the early 90's whether just packs or complete albums.
PJ/STP/nirvana/AIC/soundgarden/TOTD ect.
but i'm sure with all the great classic rock it'll be awhile before the "grunge" pack gets it's turn, as is the case with most of the nu-metal stuff, there's just higher priorities to make this game span multiple decades (which is great, just gotta wait for the DLC to catch up and start releasing more stuff, then the possibilities are seemingly endless also the $$$)
