I was playing a few songs last night with my Girlfriend. I was drumming and she was doing guitar.

I noticed a number of times she was unable to activate her overdrive, she would rock the guitar up multiple times and hold it there, it would not activate, but out of no where while she was playing it would activate.

anybody have this problem?

My 6 year old daughter was having this problem too. I noticed she wasn't holding the neck parallel to the ground as she played normally which I am guessing was throwing off the internal sensor. Once she leveled it out then the overdrive kicked in fine when she raises it up.

thats the exact same problem I have with my guitar- your guitar is broken, request for a replacement. The internal sensor is broken, and MIGHT work if you hold the guitar to the sky and then shake it vigorously... although you'll look stupid.

Sometimes I have a hard time activating Overdrive. When I first got the guitar I could hear a rattling noise inside, but now I do not hear anything rattling at all.

It goes off for me itself, no way of controlling overdrive... I even tough its how it should work before I've red this... Oh well, off to EA support site I guess... Hmm or maybe I'll wait till strumbar take a crap and then call in for replacement :)
